Deleting your data
In plain words, not lawyer words.
Who this page is for
Two different people land here and the answer is not the same for both. A SALON that subscribes to SaloBoss and wants its account and everything inside it erased. Or a PERSON whose name and number sit in some salon's book because they once had an appointment there. Read your own half below.
A salon: two ways to ask
From inside the app: ⚙️ Manage → Login & security → Delete account, confirm with your password, and that is it. Or write to info@saloboss.com from the email address the account is registered to, and say you want the salon erased. Either way there is no form, no reason to give and no charge, and by email a person answers you rather than a queue. We ask you to write from the registered address for one reason only: it is how we know the request is really yours, and not somebody else asking us to delete your business.
What then happens, and how fast
The account is closed and locked straight away — the minute you press the button, or the same day we read your message: nobody can sign in and the bot stops answering. Your rows are not touched yet, and that gap is deliberate — it is your window to change your mind: write to us inside it and we bring the salon back exactly as it was. Then the whole salon is destroyed: every customer, every appointment, every formula, every message the bot exchanged, the photographs, the lot. From the button, that happens by itself 30 days later. By email, within 90 days of your request and usually a great deal sooner. After that it is gone — not archived, not in a bin. The last copies are the nightly backups of the database, and every backup is deleted after 60 days at most, so 60 days after the erase nothing of the salon is left anywhere. We cannot bring it back and neither can you, so ask us for a copy of your data first if you want one.
The one thing we must keep
Invoices and payment records survive, and the law is what keeps them: Israeli tax law obliges us to hold those seven years, so a request to erase them is one we are not allowed to grant. They carry what any invoice carries — who paid, how much, when. Nothing out of your calendar and nothing about your customers. Everything else goes.
A customer of a salon
Your details are not ours. They are in that salon's own book — the salon collected them, the salon decides what to keep, and the salon can delete you from inside the app in one tap. So ask the salon first: it is faster, and they can do it while you are standing there. If you would rather not, or the salon does not answer, write to info@saloboss.com. We pass it on and make sure it actually happens — and if the salon is gone, we do it ourselves.
Your WhatsApp conversation
If you wrote to a salon on WhatsApp, that conversation is part of that salon's data and it is erased with everything else — the messages, the voice notes, the photographs you sent. WhatsApp itself belongs to Meta and not to us: what we hold is our own copy of the conversation, and that copy is what we destroy. For what sits on their side, ask WhatsApp.
Who answers, and by when
Every request on this page goes to info@saloboss.com and reaches a person, not a queue. The database is held by SaloBoss By Shanti, business number 301690202, P.O. Box 475, Eilabun 1697200, Israel. Israeli privacy law gives us 30 days to answer and we do not use all of it. We will never charge you for asking, and we will never make you explain why.
